Eligibility Criteria for Prison Department Recruitment 2023
Educational Qualification: The candidates must be a Graduate in Arts/ Science/ Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognised College/ Institution affiliated with a recognised University.
Citizenship: The candidate must be an Indian Citizen and a permanent resident of Assam
Employment Exchange Registration: The candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam
Local Language Proficiency: The candidates must speak Assamese or any other state language fluently
Application Fee: There is no application fee for this recruitment
Age Limit for Prison Department Recruitment 2023
The age of the candidate should be between 21 years to 40 years as of 01st July 2022
Age Relaxation: The category wise upper age relaxation is as follows:
- SC/ ST: 05 years
- OBC/ MOBC: 03 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 02 years
