Applications are being welcomed for the recruitment of Administrative Assistant positions at Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Assam. This opportunity is on a contractual basis, and eligible candidates are encouraged to apply for this administrative position.
Position: Administrative Assistant
Number of Posts: 3
Salary: Rs. 25,000/- per month (Merit/Experience-based)
Qualification & Experience:
- Graduate/B.A/B.Com./B.Sc. with MSc. IT and typing speed of 30 w.p.m. from a recognized institution.
- Minimum one year of secretarial work experience in HR Administration, Finance & Accounts, Academic, Purchase, Schools.
- Good knowledge in administration, secretariat, transport, dispatch, and experience in an ERP environment.

Job Roles:
- Various responsibilities in Admissions, Examinations, Convocation, Transcript preparation, and coordinating among schools/centres.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ability to work in the Student Management System (SMS) portal.
- Willingness to work Monday to Saturday from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm or beyond office hours, including Sundays and public holidays when required.
- Ability to work in shift duty (9 am to 5 pm / 10 pm to 6 pm / 11 am to 7 pm from Monday to Saturday) in TISSCARE.
- Excellent written and oral communication in English and Hindi. Knowledge of Marathi is an added advantage.
- Self-motivated, flexible, team player with multitasking abilities, discretion, and trustworthiness.

- SC/ST/PWD candidates pay Rs. 125/- with the required certificate upload.
- Women applicants are exempted from the application fee.
