Assam Science Technology and Environment Council (ASTEC) has invited eligible candidates to apply for 04 posts on a purely temporary basis in Patent Information Centre of ASTEC, initially for 11 months or till the continuation of the project (whichever is earlier). Further engagement is subject to performance, outcome and continuation of the project.

1. Name of Post: Project Scientist-I
No. of post(s): 1
Required Qualifications: Doctoral Degree in Science or Master Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent.
Additional Weightage will be given to the candidates having Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights(IPR)/registered Patent Agent.
Salary: Rs.56,000/- (+18% HRA)

2. Name of Post: Project Scientist-II
No. of post(s): 1
Required Qualifications: Doctoral Degree in Science or Master Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent and 5 years experience in management of Intellectual Property Rights.
Additional Weightage will be given to the candidates having Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights(IPR)/registered Patent Agent.
Salary: Rs.67,000/- (+18% HRA)
3. Name of Post: Project Associate-I
No. of Post(s): 1
Required Qualifications: First Class master Degree in Natural or Agricultural Science/ M.V. Sc. or Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized university or equivalent.
Additional Weightage will be given to the candidates having Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights(IPR).
Salary: Rs.31,000/- (18% HRA)
4. Name of Post: Project Associate-II
No. of Post(s): 1
Required Qualifications: First Class master Degree in Natural or Agricultural Science/ M.V. Sc. or Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized university or equivalent and 4 years of experience in management of Intellectual Property Rights.
Additional Weightage will be given to the candidates having Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights(IPR).
Salary: Rs.35,000/- (+18% HRA)
Age Limit for ASTEC Recruitment 2023
Candidates from the age of 21-38 years can apply for the posts.
