1. Name of Post: Technical Officer (Co-terminous)

No. of Posts: 01 (UR)

Qualification: Post Graduation in Agro-meteorology/ Meteorology/ Agronomy/ Agricultural Physics with knowledge in Computer Application

Desirable: Experience in Agro-met Advisory Services, Crop Weather Modelling, Data Analysis and related areas

Salary: Rs. 57,700 per month

2. Name of Post: Junior Administrative Assistant (Co-terminous)

No. of Posts: 01 (PWD)

Qualification: The minimum educational qualification of the candidate should be a Bachelor’s Degree in Science/ Arts/ Commerce from a Govt recognised University

Desirable: Diploma/ Certificate in Computer Application

Salary: Rs. 14,000 to Rs. 49,000 + GP Rs. 8,700

3. Name of Post: Laboratory Assistant Grade III (Co-terminous)

No. of Posts: 01 (UR)

Qualification: The minimum educational qualification of the candidate should be a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from a Govt recognised University

Salary: Rs. 14,000 to Rs. 49,000 + GP Rs. 8,700

4. Name of Post: Field Assistant Grade III (Co-terminous)

Qualification: The minimum educational qualification of the candidate should be a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a Govt recognised University

Desirable: Diploma/ Certificate in Computer Application

Salary: Rs. 14,000 – Rs. 49,000 + GP Rs. 8,700

5. Name of Post: Tractor Driver (Co-terminous)

No. of Posts: 01 (UR)

Qualification:

• HSLC or its equivalent examination passed
• Valid Tractor Driving License
• NE Region Farm Machinery Training and Testing Institute (FMTT) Certificate of Training
• Five years (05) working experience in R&D Organisations

Desirable: Handling & Operation of Tractor Drawn Cultivator, Seed Drill, Rotavator, Multi-Crop Thresher, Subsoiler, Disc Plough, Transplanter

Salary: Rs. 14,000 to Rs. 49,000 + GP Rs. 5,200

Age Limit for Assam Agriculture University Recruitment 2022

The minimum age of the candidates should be 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01-01-2022

Age Relaxation: The category wise age relaxation is as mentioned under:

• SC/ST: 05 years
• OBC/MOBC: 03 years
• Ex-Serviceman: 02 years
• PWD: 10 years

Residentship: The candidates must submit a copy of the Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC) issued by the Govt of Assam along with the application form
