Qualification:
Trainee Engineer:
- Full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology/B.Sc. (Engineering) from a recognized Indian University/Institute approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade.
- Alternatively, AMIE (enrollment up to 31.05.2013) with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade.
Trainee Officer:
- CA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/ICWA or CMA from Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
- Candidates who have passed CA/CMA are eligible to apply.
General Eligibility:
- Only candidates with valid GATE-2022 score (for Trainee Engineer) or valid CA/CMA score (for Trainee Officer) can register online on NHPC’s website.
Selection Procedure:
- Shortlisting of candidates based on NHPC registration and merit from Normalized marks (out of 100) in GATE 2022.
- Online Document Verification will be conducted for the shortlisted candidates.

- SC/ST/PwBD/Ex.SM category candidates: No registration fee required
