Essential Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, Geology, Mathematics, Geo-informatics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certificate/Diploma in GIS & Remote Sensing or Geo-informatics. OR
- M.Tech/MSc in GIS & Remote Sensing/Geo-informatics.
- MCA/MA/MSc in Geography, Geology, Mathematics, Environmental Science with Geoinformatics as a subject.
- Certificate/Diploma in GIS/Remote Sensing or Geo-informatics.
Desirable Qualification:
- Proficiency in GIS Software like ArcGIS, QGIS, Global Mapper, or similar industry-standard tools.
- Familiarity with spatial data formats such as Shapefiles, GeoJSON, KML, and coordinate systems.
- Knowledge of Geo-spatial analysis, image processing techniques, and tools for geospatial data development.
- Competent in data collection via drone survey.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
Preferred Experience: - Previous experience or internship in a GIS-related role is preferred, though not mandatory.
Experience:
i) Candidates with a minimum of 10 years of work experience will be given preference.
ii) Preference will be given to candidates trained in RCC who possess the required educational qualifications and demonstrate proficiency in GIS.

Pay Scale: Rs. 25,000/- Per Month

Selection Procedure:
There will be a walk-in-interview on January 22, 2024, starting from 10 AM at the Office of the District Commissioner in Hojai, Assam.
