Applications are being sought for various project-based positions at Assam Agricultural University in 2024. The university is inviting eligible candidates for the role of Project Assistant in the project titled “Bio-evaluation, Identification, Quantification of Bio-active Compounds and Development of Bio-pesticides from Ethno-medicinal Plant Extracts against Major Insect Pests of Vegetable Crops.” Established as the first institution of its kind in the entire North-Eastern Region of India, Assam Agricultural University aims to produce globally competitive human resources in the farm sector. The institution is dedicated to conducting research in both conventional and frontier areas to optimize production and disseminate generated technologies for the benefit of food growers, producers, and traders involved in the sector, with a focus on sustainability, equity, and overall household food security.

Qualification:
- M.Sc. in Agriculture or M.Sc. in Chemistry.
- Preference will be given to candidates with working knowledge of plant sample extraction using a vacuum rotary evaporator.

salary: Rs. 25000/- per month + 8% HRA
Age Limit: Not more than 35 years
- 5 years relaxation for ST/SC candidates

Selection Procedure:
A walk-in-interview is scheduled for January 29, 2024, at 11 AM in the Chamber of Associate Dean, Sarat Chandra Sinha College of Agriculture, AAU, Rangamati, Dhubri.
