Institute of Advanced Study in Science & Technology (IASST) Guwahati Assam invites applications for teaching positions at the level of Associate Professor from qualified Indian nationals, including PIOs and OCIs.

Pay Scale: Rs. 1,18,500 – 2,14,100/- per month (Level-13)

Essential qualification:

• Master’s degree in Physics, Chemical Science, Data Science, Bioinformatics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Life Science with first-class or equivalent.
• Excellent academic record demonstrated by patents and/or publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Ph.D. in relevant disciplines.

Experience:

• A minimum of 10 years post-PhD teaching/research/professional experience in Indian/Foreign Institutions/Universities of comparable standard.
• Demonstrated leadership, with a proven track record of sponsoring research projects, guiding PhD students, active teamwork, and engagement in professional societies activities.

Desirable:

Post-Ph.D. experience of working in the fields of relevant disciplines

Age Limit:

• Not more than 50 years
• Age as of the closing date for receiving applications.
• Age relaxation for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/other categories as per Government of India rules/orders on the subject.
